The Springfield Press has been published weekly since 1931, and is now in its 75th year.
In 2002, Journal Register Co. of Trenton, N.J., purchased the Press Newspapers of Delaware County, which includes five other
weeklies.
The Springfield Press circulation is 6,000, including paid subscriptions and newsstand sales.
The paper is published every Wednesday.
The mission of The Springfield Press is to provide in-depth coverage of
Springfield and Morton news, including local government and school district issues. The Press welcomes news from local schools,
churches, athletic organizations, community groups and events, school sports highlights, letters to the editor and other items
of importance to our readers.
